OpenDNS

This is a great security tool to protect your network. They call it “cloud-based”, but I hesitate to call it that. Basically you reconfigure your router to use their DNS instead of your ISP’s DNS. Every time your computers make a request on the net they are directed via OpenDNS, complete with filtering options that you get to set. Basically it shuts off vast portions of nasty net. Not for the technically disinclined, but very good. Maybe get your nerd nephew to come set it up or give us a call to come out to your place.
